MuleHacks is the University of Central Missouri’s premier 24-hour hackathon, bringing together students to build, learn, and compete in an intense, fast-paced environment.

Participants will form teams, develop innovative projects, and present their solutions to judges for a chance to win prizes and recognition. Whether you're an experienced developer or completely new to hackathons, MuleHacks is designed to be an inclusive space where anyone can learn new skills, collaborate with others, and bring ideas to life.

Requirements

Participants must build a project during the hackathon that aligns with the theme, which will be announced at the start of the event.

All submissions must be created within the 24-hour hacking period. Pre-existing projects are not allowed, but participants may use open-source libraries, APIs, and frameworks.

To submit your project, teams must:

  • Upload their project to Devpost
  • Provide a clear project description explaining what it does and how it relates to the theme
  • Include a demo video (2–3 minutes recommended)
  • Submit a link to the code repository (GitHub or similar)
  • List all team members
